Terms & Conditions: “Purchase of Tata Sky+ over the Tata Sky+ website”

Definitions:

Primary Digicomp : This is the 1st digicomp under which your Tata Sky subscriber account is created
MultiTV connection Digicomp: a subscription option which allows You to receive the Tata Sky+ service on a maximum of three digicomps in addition to Your Primary Digicomp, under the same Subscriber ID, installed at the same address at which the Primary digicomp has been installed

All Cardholders purchasing Tata Sky+ over the Tata Sky+ website shall be bound by the following terms and conditions:

All Master, Visa, Diners and American Express Credit Cards and Debit Cards are accepted for transactions on the payment gateway available through the Tata Sky+ website. Cardholders can also transact using the net banking option.
A Cardholder can purchase up to 2 Tata Sky+ digicomps on a single credit card transaction. The total value of the transaction cannot exceed Rs 13,498 (inclusive of all taxes). The transaction value of Rs 13,498 includes the cost of 2 Tata Sky+ digicomps, standard installation of Rs 1000 for primary connection and cost of standard installation of Rs 500 for MultiTV connection.
Standard Installation includes wiring of up to 15 meters cable, installation warranty and activation charges. Charges for the Non-Standard and Premium Installation shall be charged extra, as applicable.
Tata Sky does not engage in direct retail activities. Payment gateway on the Tata Sky+ website is being provided by Billdesk (India ideas.com) using the Citibank payment gateway. Invoicing, sale and delivery is being done by Tata Sky authorized distributor.
Delivery shall be made within 3-5 working days in most cities and 7-10 days in remote locations. Tata Sky is not liable for any delayed deliveries. All purchases made over a weekend will be dispatched on Monday and will follow the delivery norms as stated above.
Cardholder must verify the contents of the package before accepting delivery. After verification, the Cardholder must sign the way bill confirming acceptance of the package.
Cancellation and refund of transaction(s) will be resolved on a case to case basis. Cardholder must allow for 10 working days in case of a refund. This is required for delivery/non delivery verifications.
On activation of the Tata Sky+ service, standard terms of the subscription contract will apply.
The success and failure of a card transaction is at the sole discretion of the card issuing bank. Tata Sky assumes no responsibility for any dispute arising there from.
EMI facility is provided by the card issuing bank and Tata Sky has no control or responsibility for the same. For queries on EMI, the Cardholder must consult with the credit card issuing bank. Tata Sky takes no responsibility for refusal of EMI by the credit card issuing bank or any dispute regarding the same.
Tata Sky shall not be responsible for any fraudulent or disputed transactions. In case of a dispute regarding any card/net banking transactions made by cardholder through the Tata Sky+ website, the same must be resolved by cardholder directly with the Bank/Credit card issuer. You agree to not make Tata Sky a party to any such dispute. Tata Sky shall not be liable to You/ cardholder for any consequence arising out of any fraudulent or disputed transactions.
Tata Sky reserves the right at anytime, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part this purchase facility or to withdraw it completely.
By making a purchase over the website, You hereby agree to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions. You agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Tata Sky and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from your or any third party’s use (or misuse) of the purchase facility available over the Tata Sky website.
