How do I recharge my account?
You can choose any of the options below to recharge your account.

  1. Use your credit card to make payments by calling the Tata Sky helpline and choosing the 'recharge through credit card' option.

  2. You can also use your credit card/net banking account to recharge your Tata Sky account online through a secure payment gateway. Go to www.mytatasky.com then choose Account Recharge in the main menu and select the credit card/net banking payment option.

  3. Simply write a cheque in favour of 'Tata Sky Ltd.' and drop it at the Skypak drop box in your area. For details click here http://www.tatasky.com/ways-to-recharge-cheque-payment.html

  4. Voucher recharge
    Purchase a recharge voucher of the desired denomination from any Tata Sky dealer. Scratch the reverse of the voucher to view the 16-digit recharge PIN. To recharge your account choose any of the options below:

    Go to www.mytatasky.com, choose Account Recharge in the main menu and select the Voucher Recharge option

    OR

    Send RC

    <space> <16-digit recharge PIN> to 56633 from your Registered Mobile Number (RMN) (To register your mobile number, send

    RMN to 56633 from your mobile phone)

    OR

    Call the Tata Sky helpline and provide your recharge PIN

  5. Auto Debit Facility
    By using the Auto Debit facility, you authorize Tata Sky to debit your Bank account / Credit card for a fixed amount of Rs 500 each time your Tata Sky account balances reaches Rs 200. You will have to first register for this facility. On successful registration, the payment method is set in place.

    To register download the enclosed form, fill it in triplicate & mail it with all relevant documents to:

  6. Cheque Payment
    Simply write a cheque in favour of 'Tata Sky Ltd.' and also make sure that your cheque is:
    1. local/at par
    2. not post dated
    3. for a minimum amount is Rs 500 (cheques with amounts lower than Rs 500 will not be accepted)
    4. signed
    5. correct for the amount mentioned in figures and words

    Please do remember to write your Tata Sky Subscriber ID and your mobile number on the reverse of the cheque. You can drop your cheque at any Skypak box.

What is the recharge bonus campaign?
Subscribers recharging their Tata Sky accounts for Rs 301 or more when in 'active' status get a Recharge bonus of Rs 15 into their Tata Sky accounts. This campaign is valid for all recharges beginning 19th April 2011 for active subscribers.
What is the minimum recharge value on Tata Sky?
The minimum recharge value for recharges through EVD, Oxigen & other partners is Rs 100. The Rs 100 Paper Recharge Vouchers remains valid (with a top-up value of Rs 98). For all other modes the minimum recharge value is Rs 165.
Is there any change in the Combo Offers pricing?
No. All the Combo Offers with Long Duration Packs will not be affected with this change.
What about the new acquisition with monthly pay packs?
New activations choosing monthly packs will now need to recharge with cost of installation & Rs 185 in order to activate their Tata Sky. Those opting for Bundled offers or any other LDPs will continue to have to recharge with cost of installation & the cost of the package.
