Payment via Credit Card


Login to the My Tata Sky section and click on the Account Recharge option and pay for your monthly subscription through your credit card/net banking account (available only to registered users of My Tata Sky).
Call the helpline, select the ‘Recharge’ option and use ‘Pay by Credit Card’ option.

Payment via Recharge Voucher


Purchase a recharge voucher of the desired denomination from your nearest Tata Sky+ dealer
Scratch the security foil on the reverse of the voucher to reveal the unique 16-digit recharge PIN.
Login to the My Tata Sky section, click on the Account Recharge option and enter your 16-digit PIN to recharge your account (available only to registered users of My Tata Sky).
  OR
  Send RC <16-digit recharge PIN> to 56633 from your Registered Mobile Number (RMN). To register your mobile number, send RMN <space> <your 10-digit subscriber ID> to 56633 from your mobile phone.
  OR
  Call the helpline, select the ‘Recharge’ option and use ‘Pay by Recharge Voucher’ option. The IVR will guide you through the process.
Tata Sky+ recharge vouchers are available at all Oxigen and Payworldoutlets. They are also available at select Tata Indicom outlets.

Tata Sky+ recharge voucher is available at select CSD unit run canteens.

Auto Debit Facility


The Auto Debit facility is yet another convenient payment option. With this facility, you are ensured uninterrupted viewing of your Tata Sky+.

By using this facility, you authorize Tata Sky to debit your bank account/credit card for a fixed amount of Rs 500 each time your Tata Sky+ account balance reaches Rs 200. You will have to first register for this facility.

To register, download the Auto Debit Form, fill it in triplicate and mail it with all the relevant documents to:

Cheque Payment Facility


You can now make your Tata Sky+ payments by cheque!

Simply write a cheque in favour of ‘Tata Sky Ltd.’ & drop it at the Skypak drop box in your area. Please do remember to write your Tata Sky+ Subscriber ID & your mobile number on the reverse of the cheque.

In addition, please also make sure that your cheque is:

Local/at par
Not post-dated
For a minimum amount of Rs 500 (cheques with amounts lower than Rs 500 will not be accepted)
Signed
Correct for the amount mentioned in figures & words

Kindly allow for 3 working days for your payment to realise & reflect in your Tata Sky+ account.

Mobile Recharge


You can now use your mobile phone to recharge! All you require is a Java MIDP2.0 mobile phone that is GPRS activated. Simply send an SMS to download an application, register and you can recharge your Tata Sky+ on-the-go.

Here’s how:

Ensure that your Java MIDP 2.0 mobile phone is activated with GPRS.
SMS <atom> to 54959 from your mobile phone.
The response you get will contain a URL link to download an application on your mobile phone.
Once the application is downloaded, you will have to register yourself and your credit card. Your mobile screen will guide you through 4 easy steps of registration and help you generate a Customer ID and a 6-digit PIN. The ‘services’ menu on the application will allow you to carry out all your transactions – registering your credit card, adding/deleting merchants, making payments, updating profile, referring friends etc.

What is mobile recharge?
Tata Sky+ account can be recharged using state-of-the-art mobile technology. Powered by ATOM technologies, this is a convenient way to top-up your Tata Sky+ account, make insurance payments and shop. A Tata Sky+ subscriber can avail of this facility by linking his credit card/debit card to the mobile application.

How does it work?
Once the application is downloaded successfully on your mobile, you need to register and get yourself a Customer ID & a PIN. For self-help screens, click here.

Where can I get help, should I need any?
Simply call 022-26846688 anytime between 9.30 am to 6.30 pm for any help you may need in either downloading or registering or using this application.

What type of handset and telecom connection do I need?
Your mobile handset needs to support Java MIDP 2.0 and your telecom connection needs to be GPRS activated.

Can a transaction fail? And what can be the reasons for failure?
A connection error in GPRS, no network, incorrect PIN, incorrect Tata Sky+ subscriber ID, wrong card details can lead to a transaction failure.

How will I know that a transaction has gone through successfully?
Once the correct details are entered and sent for validation, the application will throw up a “Successful Response”; which in turn will give you a receipt with a transaction ID. This will be stored in the ‘History’ in ‘My Services’ section of the application.

Is registering my credit card or net banking safe? What is the surety of this?
It is safer than any plastic based credit/debit card. The transaction is verified by your card issuing bank & all transactions are PCI DSS & PABP certified.The credit/debit card details are encrypted during data transfer; making it safe. Also the application uses a 2-factor authentication - the application ATOMPIN and the credit card PIN.

How will ATOM ensure protection of my PIN?
The PIN - a 6 digit PIN - is encrypted and cannot be cracked, it can only be known to the user. During a transaction, if an incorrect PIN is entered thrice, your Customer ID gets blocked. To reactivate the Customer ID, you need to call up Customer Care on 022-26846688 and only on verification of your personal details, will the Customer ID get activated again.

Is this an alpha-numeric PIN?
No, the PIN is a 6 digit numeric one.

What are the charges on my mobile for doing one such transaction?
GPRS nominal charges will apply for any such transaction, depending on the plan with your telecom service provider.

Can I recharge my friend’s Tata Sky+ account through mobile recharge?
You can recharge any Tata Sky+ account using this facility.
